Sentence (For Geri)

Sentence (For Geri)

A Poem by Seyi Ojenike

Let a kiss
Of eternal bliss, sweet and wet
Moist the damp lips
Of a lover standing restlessly
Half awake
Under the blue skies
In a bright early morning
When the harmless dew,
Gleefully
Takes down to playful earth
To caress the fields on which
Lovers stand.

Sensuality - the anxiety of anticipation and the of fulfilment - love to replenish a barren world.

This is from the soil of love and time herself, I like it, earthly romantic.
