Questionable Inspiration

Questionable Inspiration

A Poem by Katy D.

Standing nakedly in my honesty

In one blow goes all my dignity

The truth flies by and she tells a lie

I'm forced one more time to tell her good-bye

Before or after I was the captor

Of an unhappily ever after

It's all my fault that I'm a disaster

Clearly she wants attention to come faster

Then one second later I'm in the elevator

Staring down laughing at the traitor

I turn around and I notice that I hate her

Then I'm desperately looking for the player

Turn it on so loud I can't hear the crowd

Locked away in a mortal detonator

The time ticks by without a sound

If you push me around your head will become friends with the ground
