Low Tide

Low Tide

A Poem by Katy D.
"

Homeless Poetry Pt. 2

"

Sitting on the edge of the world

Staring into space that couple occupy

The meaning of freedom has been unfurled

A banner of one on the sand so dry

Remaining single and proud until the tide comes in

And washes away the small and lonely isle

'Til all that's left is dirt that's destined

To become enslaved and agree to reconcile
