FireA Poem by AchingAlexandraI wrote this in grade 9 for english class. I like it (:
A part of love on open earth,
The fire strives within this hearth, once a lick, and now a flame, the fire was small within this frame. It burns and boils all it wants, with the beauty that it flaunts, ugly ashes in it's wake, it's hot destruction is not fake. Traveling quickly where it goes, the burning magic easily flows, Pain of flame, a hot delight, as grass and nature put up a fight. Green turns brown, and brown to black, Fire consumes it's delicious snack, Living things run in fear, as colourful flames come too near. A part of love on open earth, The fire strives outside this hearth, once a lick, and now a flame, the rage it holds, it cannot aim. © 2011 AchingAlexandra |
