Mythical Creatures TributeA Poem by SeventeenPoet
There are dragons in our midst
Would you believe me, Sir and Miss? I tell no lies in this abyss As they breath fires that hiss There are werewolves in our midst Would you believe me, Sir and Miss? I tell you no lies in this abyss As they growl and disappear in mist There are vampires in our midst Would you believe me, Sir and Miss? I tell you no lies in this abyss As they consume blood and our flesh their feast There are demons in our midst Would you believe me, Sir and Miss? I tell you no lies in this abyss As they whisper in your ears here and 'tis I speak the truth, you see ... Things aren't always what they seem to be So tell me lad and dear Missy Do you see what I see? © 2014 SeventeenPoet |
