The Life Of A Seventeen Year OldA Poem by SeventeenPoetShe's numb Too numb.... She couldn't say What she wants to say
The pressure of knowing She has to achieve The highest of the highest Because of the expectations
She has to be number one To be pushed so hard It's not what she wants Her own dreams to be put aside
"You're stupid" he says, "You're fat" she says, "You're worthless" they say, "You're nothing" I say.
So many problems So many critics Judging and saying What a messed up society.
