Wished I'd Never Grown UpA Poem by SeventeenPoetYears ago-At seven I would have given up Everything-Anything To grow up
Now you ask me At the age of seventeen I wished I'd never grown up Wished I could return
To the days of missing tooths Bad scribbles on diaries Disney channels every night Daddies who gives piggyback rides
To the days where nothing mattered Scattered toys and jumping sofas Holidays, crying friends and being reprimind for sleeping late
To the days waking up in bed When you fell asleep on the couch Hiding behind my daddy When mommy was mad
Wish I'd never grown up Wish I'd never grown up. © 2013 SeventeenPoetAuthor's Note
