The Mothers Lied

The Mothers Lied

A Poem by Emaleth
"

Written in bitterness.

"
There was no magic
Full moon has brought no change
And all the blood I've spilled for naught
No knight has ever come to wake me with kisses
And my pain has never bought me enough pleasure
Lies; my body has never been a shrine
And simply being a woman has never
Taught me a single thing
