TruthA Poem by Eryn ♪My opinion.
Life twists along at a funny pace,
It's hallowed breath breathes ragged down my neck, Darkness and Light, Two concepts held in balance by the other, The line between the two lies faintly on the ground. It take shape as thoughts, Filtered between the lines of sorrow, That string the world along, Not that it is a bad place to go, For amongst those many lines, Lies traces of hope and peace. The barriers that lie between us, All of us, Built up by our own selves, Fed by drowning thoughts of others, Let us all drown together. I want to see those walls crumble, Break away at them until there's nothing left, Nothing but the true inner selves, The ones that are worth fighting for, It would be the start of war. A war brought on by truth, Funny how fragile we are, A single thought can destroy us in a moment, Leave us writhing on the ground, The truth hurts so deal with it. We are our demons, We take for granted our peace, Forged from dark tendrils, Tell me the truth when we meet again, So I may break another wall down. If you want I will grant you, The truth of everything, Everything about me that you wish to know, But be for warned, Once it is revealed it will never be the same. The world will take on a new face, One soaked in blood red tears, One that takes away the comforts you keep, So go on, Ask me the truth, I dare you to change. © 2014 Eryn ♪Author's Note
