Fire and Flames

The third poem in a day of confusion.

The world has a wall,
Built before you,
It is far too tall,
And you don't yet know,
How to climb.

The world has a pit,
Of fire and flames,
A path that will leave,
Your charcoal body,
In ashes.

The world has a watch,
And you watch it,
Count down,
To the end of,
You few days.

You are not ready,
This is what you say,
And you are right,
But not for always.

I will learn to soar,
So the wall fails below me,
I will let soul,
Be reborn from the flames,
I will walk,
Along side the clock,
And never waste a minute,
Never watch it pass away.

So for now,
I will live for today,
Strive for tomorrow,
Watch the world change,
But I'll remain,
Until the world is ready,
For my kind of change.

this is incredible! I dunno if this is intentional or not, but you sound like a phoenix here. Reborn from the ashes and whatnot, I dunno, don't mind me. I'm a bit weird.
