I awake from a dream breathing slowly, bringing everything into focus.

At my side is the beautiful tree, like the one from the courtyard long ago.

2 months,1 day, 2 minutes, 15 seconds.

I cross to my window and look out upon a familiar view.

The ocean waves at me, a friend never wavering

Yet it is all foreign, a memory too distant.

"So you finally woke." A man behind me says. "Follow Me."

Cautiously I follow, drawn by his gruff but gentle voice.

Down the stairs, towards the kitchen.

I keep stepping on my own hair, touching the cold tiled floor.

The woman looks up startled, pauses, and gets up.

"My..." she whispers barely audible.

I am wrapped in an embrace, held close, warmed.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I'm you mother."
