Limit Break

Faster and faster my feet take me somewhere new.

The world whips by,
My feet thumping in rhythm,
With my pounding heart,
A burst of energy,
A blinding flash,
I can no longer see,
The surprised faces,
Faster my pace grows,
Keeping pace with,
The music that flows,
Through my soul,
Leaving behind traces,
Marks that will never fade,
Faster still,
The world falls away,
The walls of reality break,
Crumbling around my,
Racing heart beat,
Bringing me into,
A new world,
Governed only by the limit
Of imagination.
