AlrightA Poem by Seth DeAlba
Stanza's and lines
Parking tickets and fines Nothing beats a day on the beach Flows coming from an empty street Life goes on Rising like the dawn Dawn of a new day Screaming at the empty sky Oh why Fly die cry sigh Sight Locked on target Going down Into an abysmal darkness Darkness Left alone wondering where life went In a dream left to wonder where sight is Lost alone on the blank page Written word Spoken to a crowd of paper Lost on the shore Waiting evermore For a Score A score of men dressed in coats Black as night White as a ghost Where's the rainbow? Where should we go? All alone Sins atoned Left in stone Broken bone Flight fallen fast from fractured brains left in strange places and stolen dreams Nothing but a dream Dreaming of Nothing Questions asked in a quiet voice Quite the choice Words flowing Never ending Unconnected now connecting There is a pause A breathe Breathe of life Lost at night Found at birth To the dead's sight All is here Where nothing is But a lost cause and an endless plight Fight the fate Given on a date Where life is left alone to live Live for nothing But the price is something Made of glass Broken pacts Stolen past With and endless chance Wilting Sometimes boasting Boasting cars while living on the edge I do nothing with a slow dredge I'm empty Life's lost its plenty So unsightly Wishing brightly It just might be The end.
