No Longer

No Longer

A Poem by Amber Nicole
"

sequel to 'Alone'

"
I am not alone.
I no longer see
through the eyes of a child,
nor do I hear the words
being said.
The voices around me
are precious and true,
and the sights that I see
are magnificent till the end.
The only thing changed
is the man with the charming grin.
Instead of him when I answer the door
it is a vast reflection of me
coming in.
No longer am i alone.
Nor have i ever been.
