Forgotten

Forgotten

A Poem by Serpentine
"

Another installment in the series of my poems

"

I am broken

There is no silver lined cloud waiting for me

There is no penance to ask for

All there is and ever will be is

Darkness

I am shattered

All the pieces of me are scattered on the wind

I look out through my broken line of sight

All I see stretching before me is

Loneliness

I am no longer

I once was more to some

And some to most

I can no longer wear that mask

For it is gone, shattered, broken…no more

I am nothing but an empty soul

Asking for the end

I am something worth

Forgetting

I am worth all the

Hatred

Disgust

All those feelings that I feel

I regret not taking action

Once upon a time
