Poison PlanetA Poem by [Mackenzie]September 14, 2034
Mother Nature's fighting back; Acid rain seeps through every pore, Deadly plagues sweep across the land, Rotten air, poisoned water, Darkness reigns; eternal night. Nowhere left to hide from this... This? Eternal torture. I sound like every other activist But maybe, maybe, we should have been more careful. Maybe so. Maybe so. Too late now, though, as my body rots. Pure carelessness on your part. I could forgive, but it's hard to forget. Fix what you've wronged Save this poison planet And maybe, maybe, I'll spare your little lives. © 2010 [Mackenzie]Author's Note
