A Poem by [Mackenzie]

I miss the old days;

Down in Blenheim,

with Pa.

Getting up early,

before anyone else,

going out and sitting on the driveway.

The tar on the roads always

melted

before I came out.

I pulled the stones out

and lined them up again

like soldiers.

Coming back the next day to see

if they'd dried.

They never did.

Sigh. I experienced that problem so much. Yes, Blenheim's a place. Here in NZ. Critique?
