A Different Story

A Different Story

A Poem by [Mackenzie]

The bandages she winds round her fingers

Each morning,

They tell a story.

It contrasts with her own in drastic ways.

"I accidentally picked up a knife the wrong way."

The bandages stiffen her fingers,

Till she cannot write,

Cannot draw,

Cannot do anything.

The bandages tell a different story.

I'm scared I'll hurt myself.

They tell the story for her,

Telling the story day in and day out

For anyone who can bear to listen.

Tell me what you think. It's not too good and I want to make it better.

Hmmm....well it seems to be missing some parts, but it is quite interesting.
I don't know if you plan to add more, or not, but I like it so far.
