Mirror Stars.

Mirror Stars.

A Poem by [Mackenzie]

The saddened face inside the glass

Spoke of worlds gone past,

Times gone by.

She spoke with no feeling,

Like a recorded voice

Playing over and over,

Without a visible end, without purpose.

And when she stopped,

The glass shattered,

Mirrored pieces glinting like stars

Sparkling in a grey abyss.

And those stars showed

What she truly was,

A shattered soul

With broken dreams.
