Snow

Snow

A Poem by Seriana
"

Inspired by the weather some weeks ago. It never snowed, but it sure looked like it was going to!

"

Today, it looks like snow.

Silver clouds hover,

just above….

Whispers blow,

and a show of light pierces through,

there….

just beyond the reach of my fingertips

I could grasp the wisps of cottony flow,

the iridescent glow

of one…

When light reflects,

and sparkles glisten off the reflection of cold….

It hurts to breathe…

My icy breath which leaves….me cold.

Yet,

warmth radiates from the inside as I watch them fall…

Then,

through the grey mist it brightens,

emanating shadows of hope,

springing a fervent, flurried glow

My eyes tight shut,

they open now,

And see…..

Today, it looks like snow……

Oooooo anticipation ..... of a completion ..... of dreams. Snow. My heart's desire only after the sea. Gorgeous mind images of precisely how it is .... "the cottony flow .. irridescent glow" -- how I wish I'd written these lines. You are so growing, love. Beautiful heart renderings. xo

Oh I get such a magical feel from this piece just like how I felt as a young kid during the first snow of the season. Just a pure piece of creative bliss.
