Star Dust

Star Dust

A Poem by Seriana

StarDust

on an eve which should not have been,

a soul lie scattered,

as millions of pieced-stars adorning the sky.

broken, these splinters

yet, so full of light

how could they all be so far away?

when their light still shone across the quiet being

how many did he elude,

never pausing a moment or two.

how many times he must have walked beneath.

never once hushing to feel their breeze

but the enchantment of their touch,

was in no way coincident on a placid eve such as this

their radiance, when bestowed upon a weary soul

could at no time, nor never, ever be ignored.

for this was a lovers spell

hung under the eternity of the nights starlit glow.

Very Nice!

Love the way you ended this.

the enchantment of their touch,
was in no way coincident on a placid eve such as this
their radiance, when bestowed upon a weary soul
could at no time, nor never, ever be ignored.
for this was a lover's spell
hung under the eternity of the night's starlit glow.

Love the correlation between beautiful night sky being taken for granite and someone love not being appreciated by the object of their affection. your words again are spellbinding. You have that breathtaking wow factor.

I like this piece

but the enchantment of their touch,
was in no way coincident on a placid eve such as this
their radiance, when bestowed upon a weary soul
could at no time, nor never, ever be ignored.

Love these lines here, This is very well expressed
and well written.
