A Poem by Seriana

Transcripts

When manuscripts lie

blank

 on the dampened, shattered wood

Contemplating moments of sanctuary,

lost

and again the clock strikes six

And clicks

against the silence

There, in the smudged backdrop

of drunken visions

and wanton feeds

where fundamental lust withers

beneath wrinkled promises

and lying beyond copied dreams

where slow-danced moons

shine

and foggy window panes

bleed

and feed

on the souls

of the endless supply

in stationary need

Your creativity is astounding here... you're an intellectual writer but you deploy such fine ways of making the lines lush and enigmatic. Fantastic word play and loved the way you captured the mood.

Well done! Metaphors are so much fun and you've nailed it here. God, how many of us encounter this? Probably all of us. You're writing is growing so beautifully. You're so good at playing with words.... moon shine... and clever with imagery. Well done, girl!

Life is like a blank piece of paper, we just have to decide how we want our life to read... beautifully philosophical write.

Going in my favorites. Excellent, I like the metaphor of transcripts as life and all the many dissapointments and wanton needs etc. good job!!
