As snowflakes fall,

 

silent upon the empty ground

 

When the Northern Zephyr blows

 

a brisk and rosy waltz

 

might we pause in stillness, splendor

 

reflecting in wonder at the season, Holy

 

When warm crackles fill the silence

 

and inviting scents drench our beings

 

As delightful innocence, observed

 

generates a moment of nostalgic suspension

 

Might we, as one, share in abundance

I just saw this Amber. Don't know how I missed it last week. This is very beautiful and thanks for the wonderful gift. The first couple of lines brought something to my senses. Have you ever sat outside when it is snowing, in perfect silence? If you have then you know the sound snow makes when it is falling. I love that and miss it so much.
