Adieu

Adieu

A Poem by Seriana
"

I exhaled, and this is what came out. :)

"

Adieu

The lofty blades brush at my legs

tenderly gracing my skin

with their eager placid kiss

            softly the fluid breeze flows

shimmering in harmony with distant lapping shores

And I heard a voice on the wind

carrying me softly along

What vision?

            What song?

                        What sculpture shall I fashion?

gliding along this serene mountaintop

to the beat of the approaching fury

When I….

In dreams of luxurious, golden waves

float ashore….

frolicking in quiescent silence

My journey so long, goodbye,

my love….

Dwell in the tides

and dance to the angel’s chorus

breathe deep the scent of providence

Knowing within

we cannot live without love

never can we survive without

LOVE

And the very whisper

which comes in quiet murmurs

dancing on the broken, fragile surface

A haunting melody

enrapturing the soul

entwining with spirit divine

left an ancient echo

in the interest of modern time

And I…

In vanishing undertones of shadowed rebirth,

with rain for tears in brine,

Fade away in love’s pure light

On the scent of evolution’s farewell

This stanza haunts me to my soul. I love the whole poem but this right here makes the whole thing. I love it Amber.

When you speak of love Amber I have to catch my breath as feel my heart race... again I am mesmerized by your skills as you grace the reader with how real blissful love can make you feel with genuine compassion of nature and the solid foundation of mother earth. You just amaze me.

I like it, its got a wonderful message. Your changes may help clarify a few areas where you seem to change themes, maybe a transition insertion. But already a nice piece. I thought it was an ode to a lost season at first, or maybe a remembrance of a quiet stroll. Either reason, a delightful poem.

Well I succumbed to the haunting melody of this exquisite spill of words, the fragrance of the mood echoed beautifully in every line. Very well crafted, much enjoyed the read.
Good font choice - one of my favs.
