Vanquish

 

Poisoned by the silence within

A chamber of abhorrence

and sorrow-filled curses

A splintered life

left to dust in the twilight of night

Step into the chasm of defeat

tear-stained paper machete heart

laced with a frosty restraint

Solace burned at the stake
