Do You Remember?

Do You Remember?

A Poem by Seriana

Do you remember…
When the night was calm and the earth stood still
And the only voices to be heard
Were the ones far off in the distance
Reaching through the air to tickle your ears
And whisper ancient secrets alone for you to hear?
Do you remember then….
When I captured your eye for a moment
A moment that turned to eternity in an instant
When the colossal mass of the universe
Wrapped itself around us and sighed?
Do you remember how….
I touched your face so sweetly
Kissing your lips with soothing tenderness
A solitary wet drop streaming through gravity
To land in the palm of your hand?
Do you remember….
The swollen beat of my heart
As you laid your head upon my breast
Feeling the life and love beneath my flesh
To capture the essence of me
With the sole strength of your touch?
Do you remember…
The rapture of your heart,
The night we fell in love?

Oh you've outdone yourself girl...!

"Do you remember then.
When I captured your eye for a moment
A moment that turned to eternity in an instant
When the colossal mass of the universe
Wrapped itself around us and sighed?"

My hopeless romantic side is falling all over itself... !
This is going straight to my favorites and in a hurry! :-D

In this poem your Truth speaks to you with a message of hope and success, of arrival, evolution and transcendence. Inspiring! Honesty makes a great bedfellow.

A muscle fiber torn, heals back to be gigger than it started. A heart torn... the strongest muscle.

So I wonder???? Did he know what he was doing when he broke your heart? Did he know what he was doing as he broke his own? You've swollen. It's like a cataclysm within a soul and I rest my head there on your breast I can hear, can feel its pulse. Sometimes Iyou make me feel like my chest about to give; that, if you put your head to it, you can feel the storm within turning. Feel it like a volcano about to explode.

You've swollen. The above's proven that. Your heart's huge in emotion. Covered in scars, but VERY alive. I know... I feel its pulse. I know this...I rest my head upon it sometimes when I am weary.

I saw one of my favorite movies again this last week, "The Princess Bride" and it reminds us - even "death cannot stop true love, all it can do is delay it for a while."

Maybe your best piece yet. I concede to the beauty of your minds eye.
