A more than wistful poem, Seriana which is set by and before you to, perhaps, help your thoughts to calm. Yes, in being alone, isolating self, there is a feeling of guilt perhaps that shivers the space around you. There is a battle between not returning to the noise and norm of company, the expected reality. OR coping, accepting, that what you need is not isolation but peace and nothing but, Perhaps.
Your poetry always sets my thoughts running, never sure if right but certainly aired. Many thanks for sharing, my friend.

I felt this way for a period of my life, so your eloquent words resonate deeply. The analogy that dark clouds will eventually give way to brighter days, while being a bit worn out, is mostly true, so I've found. May we all find sustenance for that ancient need.
beautiful! the Bible states that a piece and certain knowledge of our Creator is within all of us .. your poem really speaks to that for me ... it is the part of us that nags at us ... something is missing .. i like this poem a lot .. the light gray font against the bold of the title jumps out right away .. nicely done says i!

Thanks, E! Appreciate your personal thoughts and take. So glad you liked it!
Serena - the loneliness of being alone and lost in fragments of thought knowing that sleep will not provide the remedy. Perhaps the answer lies in something so basically needed - companionship.
Take care - Dave
