Enchanted

Oh, how I miss thee...

on warm, sunny days

when bright the sun shines

How could such delight

come from such humble thoughts?

When do I dwell upon thy heart

in myriad shades of blue,

do you feel me, too?

Might the colors of my heart

be welcomed in your eyes?

Like leaves…

begging for the breeze,

do I miss thee, love.....

To flow in harmony on the wind,

to soar the mountains high,

as the eagle in flight

To swim the oceans deep

the currents my guide....

Oh what love is this that takes me to such depths?

Might I have been Shakespeare in another life

for the joyous ways in which I feel and miss....

Sighs could never be enough,

for the ways in which mine heart expels it's love for thee....

the smallest drop of a tear

could but bring torrents of emotion upon its release.....

Upon your finger does it rest, for you to taste of its strength...

Until then...

until the moon shines brightly in our northern sky,

guiding your path to me...

until the dawn comes, silent on the twilight morn....

until then, my love.....you are mine.......

Very Shakespeare. Wonderful imagery and a beautiful romantic ode. I love the last:

Until then...
until the moon shines brightly in our northern sky,
guiding your path to me...
until the dawn comes, silent on the twilight morn....
until then, my love.....you are mine.......

Can't really say much else, it was well done, it truly speaks for itself.

Your aching romantic streak is lovely, my dear. You've combined so effortlessly how love can make our hearts strain to express ourselves - so much so that tears are the testament of its strength.

Shakespearean indeed...! I think he would be quite impressed with your flow of thoughts and nicely nestled words.

Very special...a nice, romantic ballad.

Only until then? Worded scrumptiously. Very romantic. True poetry.
