What wondrous words, they seem to drift on a mist of light. One can sense the life rising from the darkness, the simmering sounds, the scents, the barrenness melting into the magic of this subtle spice. Harsh thoughts mingled with those soft and smooth sighs, this burrow seems a haven, a place of escape, a joy beyond measure.

Yes, oh everyone needs a burrow as a haven from the wildness of this world. :)
You are one of those writers who seems never to lose her edge . . .sigh . . . a high water mark for you, Lovely. Every time I read it, I hear a melody so soft and lyrical, words cascading over themselves in perfect harmony . . . "Infinite these weeds of wonder…/twinklings,/a thousand-fold/piercing the clearest, twilight sky." Beautiful. The contrasts are surprising and vivid from sharp and pointy corners to smooth and sleek edges punctuating chaos. And yet, and yet "in the burrow" all is welcomed and celebrated. I love this. Definitely a fave of yours. x
