LacunaA Poem by SerianaLacuna There was a time not so long ago when pause became the norm. We stood in this vast space, and existed, in-patients (patience). Colors around us exceeded the expanse of the protective dome. And Rome…. Rome was not built in this day. Neither, then, could we progress at a speed safe enough to sustain. What slowed and divided, also falsely revered and protected (unbeknownst to us). We flailed in the frail fragility of a forced space. Comfort in the form of a warm body replaced the confines of a true heart… and we bled out the truth… The resulting actions poured out.. as hourglass sand seeping too quickly to a stop, before they become lost.
There was a time not so long ago…
That pause should have become go. © 2018 SerianaReviews
