Thoughtful, un-sad recollections.. memories set out to dry perhaps, salt stained but stroked til silky soft.. again, You write so beautifully with intense metaphors and an understanding of language and how it can benefit or bewilder.
' I would wait… ~ only a moment for his breath to change. ~ Then, I would watch.~ '
there are moments when observing the Still opens one's eyes and mind to possibilities.. perhaps more so with a wavering love. Freedom at all times for two people who need each other.. perhaps?.

Your reviews often point out emotions in my poetry that came out of me but maybe I didn't quite understand at the time when I wrote it. Or perhaps I simply chose to ignore it. :) Thank you for taking the time. Appreciate you so very much!

Writing is the magic door to secrets, luv... mostly our own! Stay smiley, happy, safe and more.. xx
Ok. I just reviewed Sunshine and I was like "Eh, maybe she has a little something.."
You can write. And I don't say that often. I have not one critique to offer on this piece. Even the title conveys a subtle play of emotions when contrast with the body of it. You remind me of me and some of the things I don't share online (yet) with this style.
So, uh, have I made it clear that I liked this?
Words like "fervor"...then "fiend"..together, though separate, give me a real feeling of the intensity and passion that existed. And it's good that you space out those more powerful words so they're building upon one another rather than overpowering.
If you've never been a fiend then you've never really loved.

Did you just write an awesome poem AND reference The Breakfast Club? I'm overwhelmed... Lol
What a wonderfully powerful poem charged with intense emotion... as we grow older we start to see just how precious moments can be but sometimes still don't appreciate them till they are gone.

Wow, simply wow. Your words are absolutely breathtaking. I absorbed every aspect of your writing, and I let it dissolve in my brain, until I myself, pictured his vanishing form, burn with memories. Your lines are somehow peaceful. In a way in which I picture the love, spiraling in the wind, near a collapsing tree to symbolize their finished journey. A Wonderful poem indeed.

Those reflections, how they awaken in us, those feelings that brought us life, this nostalgia. We can see through your eyes, are absorbed in the bliss of these visions, and ache so much in the peaceful dreams lost in distance now. So beautiful. So painful. ("Nostalgia is from the Greek, consisting of νόστος (nóstos), meaning "homecoming", and ἄλγος (álgos), meaning "pain" or "ache." Too true.)

How oft I would stare at him and think those very things, knowing one day it would end. We can never go back home though, can we? Not in the way it was. Now. For new beginnings. Let the seeds sprout :)
Thank you for always lifting me with your words and reminding me, gently, of who I am, where I came from, and which path I should focus on. It means the world and beyond.

Healing and light for you now, and endless waves of blessings to come, dearest soul. :)
