Simplicity

Simplicity

A Poem by Seriana

Simplicity

i miss you sometimes.

when I see you far away.

when I see you,

near,

so close to my touch.

i miss you more,

when our eyes meet,

savoring each piece of that moment,

before the feeling flees.

sometimes I feel your energy.

like purring violins…so thick.

so swarming,

so absorbent,

so paralyzing it’s enough to suffocate,

pushing me under,

forcing the escape of ….

what….?

my mind wanders too much,

and wonders,

and wavers through this time capsule.

this glorious secret garden of life,

trying to find the answers,

the infinite reasons…

the mystical rhymes….

i miss you sometimes,

love.

my love,

my heart,

my midnight moon….

when i’m there,

and you’re here.

i miss you like nocturnal waves.

i miss you like you were mine.

sometimes we only love from afar---and it hurts worse when that person is closest and we know we can't touch---love the "purring violins"----

Simplicity takes us back to innocence, to rooted authenticity in the natural and dive us down to oceans familiar of blue waters. Very lovely write you have shared...:)..........

You are welcome...:)...........
Full of emotions and the beauty of your feelings. I think the title suits more with your words "Simplicity"
Excellent work!

This is a wondrously rich, transparent, haunting write. Your words made me ache in the beautiful longing for something just out of reach... something missing that makes you feel incomplete. Your heart and soul seem to weep through each breathless line.
