The End Of The Age Of GovernmentA Story by Serge WlodarskiRelax, and continue shopping.I went down to the Fedex Courthouse to get my Burger King Driver’s License renewed. Which was a little awkward because I parked in the McDonalds Municipal Parking Garage, and had to get the clerk to validate the parking ticket. You can’t really blame me. Every Thursday the back of the ticket has a coupon worth 500,000 Hamburglar points. Life has been good since Walmart and the other corporations took over. Much simpler after we got rid of all that unnecessary freedom. Who needs voting, or trying to decide where to live or work? Who needs more than one brand of ketchup? Things are better now. As soon as I get my Chrysler neural implant inspected, I’ll get my Amazon food card for next month. The implant helps me not to have bad thoughts. We don’t want anything to go wrong with it. Some folks try to take theirs out, that is why we still have prisons. That old man who spoke to me yesterday said some disturbing things about corporations. He said life was better in the old days. I reported him with the emergency call feature built into the implant. Sunday, me and the gang will get together to watch the Nike Microsoft Toyota Konica Minolta BizHub Super Bowl. Everyone assumes the ExxonMobil Patriots will win for the third time in a row. But I’m going with the Trump Cowboys. President Trump had big enough cojones to replace Abraham Lincoln’s portrait on the five dollar bill with his own. Surely he can figure out how to win a football game. But seriously folks, if you are wondering why government in America has ground to a halt, it is because both the Republicans and the Democrats are wholly owned subsidiaries of the corporate oligarchy. Your new masters. The king is dead. Long live the king. Welcome to the age of corporations. © 2016 Serge WlodarskiReviews
