Solitude

Solitude

A Poem by Serene Star

Maybe it was a time
A place of clarity

Without a dimming light
A distant longing

Disappearing skylines
In teal like motion

A crimson moon
Sky like smile

Memories breeze by
To a far away land

If cascading blues could dance
As night fell

A ripple of colors
For some

Reflections of all that is
Silence of the heart

Touching the edge of much
That was left imagined

'Solitude'
Serena Star,
This was a lovely word to the time spent with our own thoughts. Colors, memories, imaginings all touched on as the human spirit is in a place of 'solitude.' Nice title too because it important to spend time alone to trouble shoot the things in our lives. Sometimes we just need to allow our minds to run free. You have done that and shared the experience in your poem. The ending is just right:
'Touching the edge of much
That was left imagined.'
Blessings,
Kathy
