fragile flower

fragile flower

A Poem by Marie Starr

Everyone's a fragile flower,

whether we admit to it

or not.

We are all soft-shelled creatures

of desire, none immune to the fire

of sharpened tongues.

I love how this poem is so short, but straight to the point, beauty in it. Great work and I do agree with you, and I believe that we should admit to our mistakes. Because when we acknowledge our mistakes we can strive for the better, plus no one can insult us because we don't find the things they say as an insult anymore when we are confident with who we are as a person. Anyway, great job on this, yayness.
