Let Go

Let Go

A Poem by Serena Monteleone

Standing there

Waiting for the water to touch my toes

Hearing the seagulls screech as I look around the ocean shore

Deep blue

Like the color of the sadness I’ve been feeling

Never feeling the same

Never moving on

Staying in my heart forever

In my everyday thoughts

Thinking to end it

I let the water touch my toes

It’s time to let go
