The weeping willow

The weeping willow

A Poem by S. S. Allen

Who can make the weeping willow happy?
Who can make her sad?
Perhaps one who strikes a melancholic cord?
A happy note?
Her silences are golden
But at the same time, unsettling.
Me thinks...
A kiss shared
Makes heart and her lips quake.
Something better than love.
Something healing...
And she becomes insatiable.
