Mosaic

Mosaic

A Poem by S. S. Allen

Candidly I come before you.
I let you in with little effort.
You break, just to piece me together.
Aligning my missing parts with yourself
My mosaic love.
I feel it...
trembling and teary-eyed.
I stare at you..
There is nothing you can do.
Yeah I've opened up,
But not with my heart.
We've reached the threshold...
And in my head,
We're making great strides
But the only strides here, is how long we've gone.
Time's far spent.
But tomorrow I know we'll try again.
Tomorrow...
