when it rains, it poursA Poem by S. S. Allen
Loosed from the heavens,
Liquefying her parched soul. But careful, Not to rain on her parade. You give life gently. Then aggressively, more dangerously, Takes them, au paradox. Flooding her with fallacies Hoping she'll drink it up She doesn't at first, But your superfluity becomes torrent, And she faultlessly spawns it into heavy rains. © 2017 S. S. Allen |
