Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by S. S. Allen

Replaying that scene in my head,

A thousand times over.

Bated breaths

Pupil dilates

Allowing light into my myopia vision.

Heart palpitating in my ears

Blood drains from my phalanges

Sweaty palms.

Shivering cold.

I’m panicking!

Just not out loud.

Wonderful. Isn't love marvelously twisted at times, and just stemming from our viewpoints?
