once moreA Poem by Nobody.I am electric with the jut of your soft white hipbones. talk to me about sweetness and madness between your carnival songs of laughter. outside is all black clouds and pain, raging squalls roar in like television static, and the wind bends pine trees to their breaking points, but, inside of these wine colored silken folds, we are invincible. we swell and lunge with the restless sea, become part of nature’s war dance, live 60 forevers in every breathy moment. if I died right here and right now, I’d be in heaven 5 minutes too early. you are an eternity of beauty and pleasure. I am an abused orphan refugee suckling salvation at your generous breast, hiding in the crags of your impenetrable soul, watching God’s paintbrush swirl and sweep a masterpiece of a miracle in front of my humbled blue eyes. damnation is but a buzzing fly trapped behind the window shade; a minor background annoyance in a world of spotless bliss. look into my grateful face. I want to see paradise once more. © 2012 Nobody. |
