grudge love

grudge love

A Poem by Nobody.

I am hungry for a kiss

a tryst

a scar

my red battle banner

charred and trampled

on the scummy sidewalk

aching for the pain

the burn

the scream

meat cut by jagged words

mind crushed beneath your weight

heart mashed into the waffle

of your pink combat roots

pull the tooth by the root

twist the blade in the spine

dance like a rabid ballerina

on the ashes! ashes! ashes!

boiling for the ice

the slice

the kill

my red face bulging

beneath the glass

of your frozen lake

dying for a spark

a jolt

an impact

a taste of the under-life

anyway I can get it

I want to fall into bottomless love

I want to swim in insatiable flame

consume me

so that I can feel whole again

break me

that I may heal

Do you ever wonder how to write the poem that has never been written?
