hunger

hunger

A Poem by Nobody.

I watch bluebirds dance on a chain link fence,

and toy with

a fast food

disaster

on a wax paper deathbed.

guess

I’d rather be hungry

than to try to understand

why the universe

looks nothing like

the pictures

on

the

menu.

life is too mushy and floppy

to bite into,

and God

seems to be more

soda water

than syrup.

those damned bluebirds

keep on dancing.

I can’t even hear the music.

smart birds.

It's my understanding that god is a recovering alchy.... an errant little bird whisper from below....

hunger.... can be a great source for inspiration. Too bad a lot of us are too full of hydrogenated chips and dumb-dumbs to feel any hunger any more...gastronomically speaking.

just snap your fingers and move your head like Stevie Wonder, the music is in the light.

ah, Churchboy pokes a jab at god?
hmmm must've been a fucked up day.

anyway,
this is tastier than anything on the menu.
simple,
but thought provoking to the point of possible philosophical overdrive. which, again, to me, is a good thing. people who kiss face values end up with cold sores.

love ya b*****d.

disillusioned with life is a painful experience..captured here and highlighted with pictures on the menu..how true that things are not always what they are expected to be..better then not to expect to much and you will never be disappointed. :)

A beautiful poetic piece about the perfect loathing of some (to me civil things in) life ... (but for you maybe another meaning) it was how I read it...
Blue birds in the almost unnatural color, although there are parrots in blue, typify the contrast in it's very extreme, but true. They distract you from the musical notes... highly like this!
