sideways mudfishA Poem by Nobody.somewhere between mentality and physicality,
went fishing for my Light in a sea of troublesome shades sideways mudfish wriggle the half-dead shore after; before sliding darkward masochist moment bleeds the sky red muted aggression, naked destruction massive holes bandaged with bottomless addictions punctures simply appear purple/black clouds shaped like tongues that lap pain from this empty bucket head no ground to be resolved only falling scars don’t remember they whisper distractions, add up subtractions, breakdown the fractured fractions of an incomplete confusion sideways mudfish wriggle the half-dead shore no less; no more beautiful than an abstract pig man on a secondhand red couch with no firsthand knowledge as to when the collision will happen; a balled up existence; always waiting, worrying, anticipating awkward impact and then whatever waits behind that bloody, muddy curtain © 2011 Nobody. |
