brick wall momentA Poem by Nobody.sun’s face
has been enveloped by
cancerous gray ghosts. you ask,
again, how much longer I will
weep. you could
be a stranger in a crowded shopping mall,
or, my mother, kneeling next to me
at the altar. you could
even be some devil speaking to me from the inside. doesn't matter much who you are.
I stare
into your storm drain eyes for
what seems a small slice of
eternity, but nothing changes. nothing heals. you have no magic. then, a
sick feeling washes over my icy guts
because I didn’t
even realize I was
crying. © 2011 Nobody.Featured Review
