it's all fire and hunger from here

it's all fire and hunger from here

A Poem by Nobody.

your milk-tone face makes my heart sweat kerosene

sets flame to my intestines

my lungs are just bellows raising the fire that keeps

you warm

I burn for you

you burn into me

I hope our ashes comingle, some-strange-when,

in the waves of everlasting time,

but, I have no dreams of ever feeling the blade

of your exquisite hand across my ruddy cheek

I have no dreams at all

except when you pass close by me;

interwoven scents of sweet perfume

&

light sweat intoxicate me

I burn for you,

you burn into me

we’ll always burn:

two flames in the darkness,

blown by the same winds

two foreign tongues

flirting,

always inches away from touching

a forever thirst

met daily with dusty

dry thoughts

and cruel vinegar sponges

I love you

you are Love to me

I am the valley

the mountaintop is for viewing;

never for touching

I burn for you

you burn into me

I am blessed just to be scarred

by you.

I am happy to lick my wounds,

and taste your remnants.

Romance in a surreal form. Powerful stuff.
