A Poem by Nobody.

disaster relief negotiation disaster relief

when the sick & starving

become the dead & gone,

we will have cured their diseases

and silenced their hungers.

their accumulated bones

will make lovely

figurehead-rests

for leopard lords

of hope & change

that is always just one more

day away.

Fate favors the cold.

I definitely like this piece for its display of a harsh reality, but it is a reality that could not be more real. I love the last line, so true. Good job.

That is too true brother. Agreed on the direct simplicity of this message.
