spirits & i deals

spirits & i deals

A Poem by Nobody.

he grins hatred and laughs war.

his eyes are landmines,

and his spirit is toxic fallout.

I watch

and listen

and drink

until I’m drunk enough

to release the safety

mechanism in my guts.

a firework display of fists

will cake the 4am parking lot

in depressed ashes

and aftermath cinders.

later,

two detectives and a priest

will wonder

what happened here.

I’ll sleep until noon,

and bleed until December.

nothing will change.

nothing ever does.

Unsettling on a serious level! lol
But then again...its you hon :) Bloody brilliant work! Metaphor and imagery here is sublime...what a ride!

Disturbingly blunt, and yet hilarious and revealing all at the same time.

This reads like a noir novel of old.
