SunA Poem by Nobody.Sun, please bend
a bit deeper at your
nimbus knee, puncture the
saturnine rings of deep
thought spun with shallow despair that dance
around my murky sphere of perception, kiss me
full on the face with the
light of half-clarity spit the
watercolors back into my
drab eyes let me
dance happily with the
noontime zombies again dark enlightenment
is too heavy for this
dilapidated heart to bear let me
burn down in sweet illusion, too drunk on
7 minute old starlight to feel
myself freezing and/or
melting back into cursed mud Sun, blind my
midnight stare, so that I
can watch the flowers bloom, and freefall
into eternity with the happily ignorant Saints of
Oblivion slice away
this deathly crust, and make
me feel whole again true reality is best
saved for mourners and rattlesnakes even then, in tiny
dosages stricken, striking, dumbstruck, and gone © 2011 Nobody.Reviews
