fell asleep

                  drunk

                            in the sunshine.

woke up

                charred

                             in the burn ward.

 

my explanation:

the downtown shadows must have had

their ways with me again.

You drift us over the scene and into the mind of shadows wreaking havoc in the sunshine... Only makes me wish there was more.
